I know I started this and I almost feel bad about bagging the guy's car but damn is it ugly. Just the same has anyone priced a sloppy fibergl*** body lately or a poor fitting new steel car ? The way it looks I'd be amazed at it being a top quality example once stripped yet real Ford bodies around here sell rather well. How many sold is something else but at Canfield last week there were worse piles for $10,000 - $15,000.
Hopefully someone here at least picks up the Halibrand.

I've bought some pretty ugly cars because I can see through the terrible **** to see the good stuff underneath but I never started at 5000 dollars. Even selling the wheels and tires won't reduce the initial investment much.

Don't worry it will get saved. Either he gets realistic about its value, he keeps it long enough that the prices over take him or a poor newbie jumps in without looking around.
