Hot Rods Somebody should record some sounds.

Hey Rodders.

Once upon a time, maybe 15 years ago, I heard about an old guy down in Texas who sold a cassette (yeah, it was a while ago) of various "car trouble sounds": rod knocks, crank bearing knocks, detonation, wheel bearing whines, etc. I tried to get one, but he had died by then.

But I keep thinking about what he had created and how I sort of wished I had found out earlier. It would have been useful in my life. So I'm thinking that somebody that sees a lot of cars with problems should be able to do the same -- probably a YouTube thing these days -- and it would be a worthwhile thing for some of us to have available.
