  4. That would be me homeboy. Thanks!!!!

    Homemade linkage?

  5. Not Homemade. My buddy ordered kit for me from hotrodcarb, I think. This set has been on here for 5 years and it's been GREAT. All 3 carbs are centers, with the ends obviously modified with the removal of choke and idle ***emblies. My buddy ordered shafts, ****erflies, and the linkage. I love this setup and it's been good the whole time. I hope this helps.

Oh yeah... and I made that throttle return spring holder on the front carb from a used 327 rod bearing [IMG] Just flattened it in a vise and ground it to the shape you see and it works great.

  6. Sorry Travis, I am used to getting the homemade reply when I ask this question. DID you use their throttle shafts? Do you have thicker ****erflys in the end carbs?

  7. Yes... the ****erflies in the end carbs are MUCH thicker and they sealed very nicely. You should be able to set the bases on the front and back carbs with these ****erflies and then run the engine with the center carb on it. (That's with the top half of the carbs not installed on the bases.) That's what we did and we knew we had good bases that didn't leak and cause vacuum problems.

The other thing we did was to seal off the idle mixture screws, we just used epoxy on the threads... screwed them all the way in and then ground off the screws so they are flush with the base of the carb. I hope I'm making sense.
