Here it is. I have a 32 Ford with a 350 Chevy with a turbo 350 trans. It was a fresh build engine that always started with the first try. Then all of the sudden it was hard to start. I had to use starting fluid to get to start. With weeks of frustration I noticed that the kick down cable was binding when I hit the gas pedal. I disconnect the cable and now the engine starts with the first try. Whats the cable have to do with having the engine firing. How do you adjust the cable.
I've always left them disconnected. I'd rather pull it into second then have to nail it to get it to downshift. If you were using starter fluid it must have been holding the ****erflies shut.
