I am at a cross roads in my life and want to get a project back to do. I recently had to get rid of my 51' Cranbrook due to USMC operational commitments and could not afford to keep it in storage.

I have the opportunity to get another Mopar which is a 71' Dodge D100. I am a avid mopar fan by far but... I am not a huge fan of the 71 Dodge Body as its a stepside and that also the front end does not appeal to me. I really like the body styles of a 54 Chevy 4 door but I am not to sure if I could find a 54 Chevy body to fit on the trucks frame. The truck has a 440 engine in it that runs and drives.

I was wondering if you all could give me some ideas or point me in a good direction that would appeal to me I would appreciate to see some good photos too. I would love to find someone who would want to trade for a cranbrook that runs preferablly a 4 door or even a 4 door 1950 coronet body too.

    I am up for suggestions!

Whether it is a Dodge truck or any thing else DO NOT buy any project that is not an object of your desire. Figuring out how to over come the obstacles of ordinary construction is tough enough with out dealing with an ugly truck. This don't sound like a project you want. Be patient. The right project will come when it is tme.

And don't try to fit a '54 Chevy body on ANY truck frame. Do as stated above and wait for the right car to come around.

    And thanks for your sacrifice.
