  12. That wagon red is perfect with the white wheels and silver. It actually kinda reminds me of a big kid's pedal car now!

Red and White?? (A "Swinger" clone? HaHa )
Now you've got to wear your "Cam Snappers" jacket at the race ( and send a picture to Jere; I'm sure he'd be thrilled to see that a club member BUILT a freakin' HOT ROD, and didn't BUY a street rod!!)
Good for you Ron, I know you've busted ass on this, but YOU DID IT, BABY!!
    Kudos to Maureen too!!
I'm so excited I'm gonna have 2 bowls of ice cream!

20170518_134130.jpg need a battery box, make one. You like my hold down, I know you do. I ran the battery cable up to the solenoid too. Then one brake line. 20170518_173203.jpg

Reminds me of my first ride in my brothers first hot rod around 1955, I was13. It was a 29 roadster and had a 59AB stock engine.39 trans and I think 4.11 gears in the rear and 600 x 16 tires. He put a roll bar in and to the drags we went at George Field Ill. It ran about 85 in the quarter. Your lettering looks very good to me for the era you are portraying. In those days you saw several brush paint jobs, rusty frames, and no paint job at all.One roadster had no seat belt and the crew wrapped a log chain around his middle. Thank god he had no accident . My compliments to you for bringing back some good memories, Very correct hot rod for mid 40s to mid 50s.

Heard stories of some MA. rodders that would cruise looking for house painters, they would ask for the paint left in the cans... painters were good about leaving a little extra paint in each can... was told that the whole club painted their cars with leftover house paint... those were the days...

Been tooling on this thing non stop. Brake lines run, adjusting the clutch linkage. Mounting the seat was no small feat, had to fab and weld up a couple brackets. Today fuel line and rad hoses. 20170520_202602.jpg 20170520_161414.jpg 20170520_202501.jpg
