After we wired up the car I painted the dash and lettered it up again. Now it is complete KIMG0427.JPG

So, I feel this thread has come to an end. I have built, run, broke, tested, broke, re-tested, run, and proven that this "thing" I put together has come to fruition. 6395.jpeg 6397.jpeg I ran the race of gentlemen, it was epic! Enough said. Thanks to all who helped: my wife Maureen, my family including my Mom, Elaine. Mike Letendre- he loaned me the trailer to get there. Mike Bowling who has been there THE WHOLE TIME!. Every Camsnappers, every Tornado, all of the Kingpins, Robert Palmer, Eli English and family, and anybody else I missed. Thanks for everything. It means so much to me.
I have been sucked into this traditional style of hot rodding and there is no way out. I am thankful to all who helped me along the way.
I hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I did. Stay tuned for more " scraps to riches" build threads. WOO HOOOO!!!!

Congrats! Looks like it was a blast!

One of the other guys that was there racing, Jeremy Baye, has done some welding for me, and will be doing more to finish my build.

  27. I haven’t been checking the board much lately, so I missed the last bunch of posts in this thread. Congrats on making it to the beach. No small task. Awesome!

Wow, I’d lost track of this build after I saw the first couple pages until recently. That roadster is right on the money! Love it man
