sometimes i DO enjoy living next to a race track

i live about 100 yards form a 1/2 mile dirt oval....it only gets used about 1-2 times a year for some reason. anyway , i just got home and it's one of those nights..you would think they would let me know before

12:31 AM and all i can hear is the scream of a bunch of engines twisted tight...for most it would be annoying , for me it is soothing

a little Korbel , the roar of the engines , checking out the Hamb....life is good

just thought i'd share..hope things are well with you too

 

Geez...I don't think I could sit home. I'd be over at the track taking it all in.

 

I live a short distance from a dirt track and they run most Wednesdays and Fridays in the summer, it's like music in the air. I work in the garage with the doors open, and a smile on my face, especially when the outlaws run.
I hope the ****in' yuppies movin' into the area don't ruin it.
