I tend to steer clear of the local car shows, because they are usually full of brand new Corvettes or 20 Billet wheeled LS-ES-E-I-E-O powered resto-mods but I must admit I was very pleasantly surprised by the cars that turned at the New York State Power Authority show in Blenheim NY
The Shoebox is the type of ride that was always seen at the Lead East show in Jersey (many times over) and that Ford truck has a Special story to go with. Thanks, Robert!
That was Frank (who’s last name escapes me) of the Beatniks Car Club, he sold it and it’s new home is Middleburg NY roughly half an hour north of me, where my aunt and uncle live.
Corrected, I am not a typists to begin with, throw in this auto fill auto correct crap plus I forget to proof read and typing becomes a major pain in the ass!
Not Hot Rods or Kustoms but some pretty cool stuff... Survivor 1935 Ford The man who owns/restored this 54 stopped by the house a couple, I was able to help him out with a few small parts he was missing. Cool survivor Buick... ...and he's a friend of Rodtoberfest! No words needed!
