aaa cannot help you with title issues. This I know.

  3. Minn dmv balked at my photos printed on my own printer ... They said "when- where were these taken? "as they had never seen pics on regular 8x10 paper before!
I said they are from my digital camera and thats how they look and having a photo studio print out glossy pics that they would not return seemed to be a waste of my time and money...

so the GUYS ABOVE are right ...
Go to aaa/small town dmv mid week morning before the lunch hour
have all your ducks in a row .. Copies of original documents they can keep ready made show them originals but need them back for the historical pprovenance of your car.
Call ahead and ask what they will want... Ask for there name and scheduled work hours and try to see that person

before walking in there check a blue book/ current old cars price guide ... Prolly newer than the one they have!

Be kind, act cival, request their most knowlegable staff and be sure thats all that you need before leaving

    good luck

put a lein on it and your done. it might seem shady but if you have the right guy it works every time. the DMV just like any other government or state place such as the courthouse, police station SUCKS and I hate dealing with them ANYTIME, ANYDAY ANYWHERE. Fee's for this.. that.. and they have NO PROBLEM taking your hard earned money.. and even if your lucky enough to have easy earned money I dont think its right. F*ck them.
The people at AAA are always nice though and i agree the wait time is never over a few minutes without an appt.

don't ever do anything with the dmv that says special construction...special construction= fucked over..... my advice is if you hear that word, get your shit and walk out. go to a different dmv and try again.
