I just spent about twenty minutes with a friend of mine who's four year old grandson is laying in a funeral home because his mother went nuts and shot him, her boyfriend and herself. Seeing a four year old in a casket is just WRONG! This woman had a long history of criminal activity, drugs, theft, you name it, and the system just kept turning her loose and giving her custody. My friend and his son had been battling the courts for years on this and now I guess it's over. I'm a grandfather and I can't imagine how you would get through something like this. Just remember the family in your prayers and hug the chidren in your life, they are precious.
    Thanks for the time,
    George

George, I am sorry to hear that. I went through this same thing when I lost my son to an automobile accident. Its terrible to deal with and knowing the young one died as a result of hatred and violence would be impossible to get through the grief. My prayers are for the whole family involved.

[IMG]Words can't even express how bad that must feel, really sorry about the loss. tragic and disappointing on the side of the judicial system. Once again, very sorry for your loss.

At least she was self convicting. You really wish they'd do it in a different order tho. you know, Kill yourself, then the kid.... Same for suicide bombers. Blow yourself up, then drive down to where you can kill others....
It would be a much better world if these people would only try it my way 1 time.

Sorry to hear that...but it's not the judicial system that doesn't work...it's the damned lawyers that get them off and allow them to go back to their lifestyle!

I had lost faith in the judicial system myself until last January when the court system finally gave custody of my son to me vice my ex wife. My son was in a terrible position and despite numerous chances for the court system to yank him he continued to stay. Have faith in the court system, it may not happen imediately but it will eventually. I'm tremendously sorry in this case it was to late. I'm sorry for your loss, all involved will be in our prayers.

Wow I am sorry you and your friend are going through this. May you both find strength. You are doing a great thing by showing your support. I don't even want to fathom the idea of this happening to my son. It is unfortuante that in today's day and age that some people still think that murder and suicide are the answer.
