Sorry to bother again but now I got a carb problem.

    The carb on my pontiac runs alwright except that when you push the pedal down over about a 1/4 of the way down it try's to die it has a flat spot in it where it will die but if you pump it quick enough you can get it past that but then its reved real high. What could be causing the flat spot you all think? Other than that it runs ok. I even drove it for the first time tonight.

    Replace the accelerator pump.

    also make sure the little(Check) ball is under the accelrator pump.Mine kept popping out & it would do that.
    Could be about 5 differant things, but make sure it has a nice stream of gas shooting in when you pull the trottle back
