Hello. Im Beecher. I actually creaeted this account years back, top of the page says i was last hear Jan 1 of 04. I didnt know i had an account already, dont think i ever posted anything. Anyway, Im 24, and am building a 1940 ford coupe. Period perfect 1947. Bought it 7 years ago, and its almost ready to drive now (did a shake down run or 2 in the fall, but nothing past the corner). It a 276 Cyclone flathead runnin 3 jugs, and a linc dist (well, it will, its got a mallory on it now, but that just has to go). Its in grey primer and tatered seat. Everything i could possibly get origional is origional, with minimal repop parts. If it wasnt around in 47, it isnt on this car (well, as soon as that dist is off anyway). I live and breath the 30s and 40s, and have since the time was 11 (grew my first pompador in gr6, hahah). Not too much else to say, so i guess i will see you guys in the forums. Beecher
Dude, that engine looks great with those cyclone heads. Plus the cloth wiring harness and lever shocks are period perfect and it's a 40 ford coupe which happens to be my dream rod. Thanks for posting the pics.
everything but the engine is origional. What im aiming for it this, if it was sent back to 1947, no one would notice anything out of place. Its all cyclone, intake and gen braket as well. no prob about the pics. Ive been forum free for at least 2 years, kind of been out of the car as well, but i got the fever bad right now. thanks for the compliments!
yeah, watch for it there. This is about the 6th waterdown i swore the car would be debuted at, but i think i can make it this year for sure!
sweet ride, totally bad ***. I might have my car done by then if so i will see you guys there as well.
