Got a new Motor Trend here with the new 05' Mustangs and C6 Vettes.Not much into the new, but I gotta say, I like!
My local Ford dealer is going to take my deposit on a 05 GT soon...(good bye POS BMW!!!)Also a good friend of mine works at a BOP/GMC dealer and told me the first GTO is/maybe/hopefully/going to be in by the end of Febuary.
The mustang is pretty cool. But the C6...just isn't right. I like it, untill you see the front end. I really do not like those headlights. At all. Makes it look european, it's odd. Just my opinion, and I'll say nothing more on the matter. Looks much better as follows.
My boss is an LS1 freak. Not much in the way of changes for the Vette motors this year. He'll probably have one soon. The vettes look really good. The Mustangs are ok. I'd still take a Duece over both of 'em.
Looks like the same-O vette to me. They've been just re-hashing different variations of that same boring nose design since the 80's (and the 80's vette was ugly). They really need to start with a clean slate and do the rest of the car justice - I like the rest of the car, but when you see one from a distance (from the front) it's hard to tell a new one from a 1982 and the c6 just looks like a warmed over c5. Chevy is too damn conservative when it comes to design upgrades (in my humble opinion).
