Definitely a roller. It has that "nap pattern" to it. Looks like they rolled it up against the trim in a few spots.
I knew they existed, but I don't think I ever looked at one in person or ever saw many pics of them. Not only are the doors unique to the sedan delivery (it surprises me that Ford would have done that), but also the roofline is higher than a p***enger car. You can really see that in the front head-on view. Higher roofline obviously for more cargo space in back. Good design for commercial applications where they hauled cargo that was bulky but not heavy-- grocery delivery, florist, funeral home flower car, etc.
At that price I have to wonder if it has rust and/or ***le issues? If it doesn't, it's a giveaway price, especially if you can negotiate it down a bit. I want to see what I'm buying. Fresh primer or slopped paint on a car for sale is a red flag & pet peeve to me. First thought, is they're trying to hide something. This one they also did the "see how good it will look" garden hose embellishment.
The combination of the door corners and the higher crowned top (and maybe other 'oddities') make me wonder if the sedan delivery might have shared some sheet metal with the higher rated panel delivery. As @38fordpickup stated, it seems unlikely that Ford would commit to a redesigned part for less than 4,000 units.
Paint on there doesn't bother me. These weren't super desirable over the years. If someone painted it with a brush every few years to keep it "decent" that's a win. Magnet tells the truth. In person gets it negotiated.
