Source for left hand thread bolts.

    I need some left hand thread bolts that are 1/2" fine thread and 3" long for the hub/drum puller I made.Anybody know a good source for these?

    Mcmaster carr only has course thread left thread bolts listed in their catalog.
     
  5. HEY BUD! THERE IS ANOTHER COMPANT SIMILAR TO McMASTER CARR, BUT IT IS CALLED "MSC" THEY HAVE A MONSTER CATALOG, GREAT SHIPPING, AND ARE ALMOST ALWAYS CHEAPER. ORDERING MINIMUM IS ONE OF ANYTHING, TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT OVER THE PHONE. ENJOY!!! BOB

    I live about 20 miles from MSC. They are a great co. to deal with. I also deal with McMaster-Carr. For cheap quantities MSC will do you good. For the really tough to find stuff or small quantities go right to McMaster-Carr, higher prices but they have it. NOW, if it's not in either catelog, ask either of them real nice, they will find it for you.If something is in their catelogs, they have it in stock.MSC will give you a 4 inch thick catelog just for asking. McMaster's is a little tougher to get. Some time I'll tell you how MSC helped me track down my Fn neighbor that got my account number and thought he could have about $4000 worth of stuff delivered to my house and pick it up before I got home from work!!
