And here I am. My name is Mike, duh, and after q few years of lurking in the shadows here I've decided to register.

I'm a shoot from the hip kind of guy and I like to kid. But when it comes right down to it, I'm obsessed with anything that has an engine. From minibikes to freight trains. Gas or diesel. And the weirder the better.

I like to build vintage, but enjoy watching the other stuff too. I'm currently working over a 52 Packard I rescued last fall. As I'm sending this from my mobile, read can't upload pics, I'll have my Slackintosh back soon to illustrate my posts.

    So howdy yall.

  2. Welcome from New Zealand, Mr Duh. :D Sounds like we've got a lot in common - I'm probably just as obsessed with anything that's powered with an engine (as is my best friend/ex-spouse; she and I've had some interesting opportunities to view and ride in weird and wonderful machinery over the years).

Obviously, owning a pelican Packard is a bit different from the usual HAMBer, which is a good sign. I'm sure you'll enjoy being involved on the site.

As for now I'm off to Australia for a couple weeks. Reckon customs will have anything to say about me bringing back a bag of ol rusty parts?

As long as you keep em in a bag and dont try to "SHOVE" them anywhere to hide them you should be ok!
