Be there rain or shine. Been getting ready for it all week. Dont know where my spaces are right now. I moved since I paid for them and they got returned so I will have to pick them up the the registration table. Look for the blue awning with the "AUTOMOTIVE INSULATION" banner.

Aw come on I evacuated to Dallas from a low lying area of Houston. It really shouldnt be THAT bad here. The swap meet was going to keep me entertained while I was here.

Not at the ballpark. It is in the Six Flags parking lot.

Well, it must be allot smaller than years past ? Typically it fills all the lots
so, If the weather is not awful, I'll run back to town tomorrow and look again ..but

Very small, I walked through in a couple of hours. If all spaces are filled it might take four.

I was there all day today. It was a fair day sales wise and I was there by myself but still got to scout around and find a few bargains. Its much smaller than years past but still a good meet. It filled up pretty good today and there weren't too many packing up that I saw. I'll be back about 8 AM tomorrow and stay as long as the weather will allow.

I went yesterday. The stupidest thing I saw was a 66 Chevelle steering column. Floor shift, tilt, supposedly rebuilt. The paint was way too flat and no steering wheel. Asked about a price, $1300 !!! Stupid Stupid. A good way to ruin the hobby for the ordinary man that can't spend that kind of money for something a simple as a steering column. I'd buy an aftermarket first.

  25. Ive run into these types putting mine together i.e. 4spd consoles SHIT$$. The stuff is going the way of the Corvette resto prices which will run off the real enthusiast!!

i managed to get out there todaym at the crack of dawn..pretty depressing really, a smaller parking lot, and only 1/4 full. but still scored a set of plates, and a bomber o2 tank. might try to make it back out tomorrow, passed on a set of 72 vette seats, and need to see if they are still there.

well went back out this morning. but i guess after yesterdays weather almost everyone had packed up and gone home..maybe 15-20 vendors left. but did get lucky and found a good pair of 66 mustang seats for the ranchero, so not a total loss. but still very depressing considering the size of years past
