hello all. i just installed langdons HEI distributor, 12 volt coil and new wires. iv read multiple forums about which spark plug to run on a 235. i can gap my plugs at .060 with the new spark system. i know every one has their favorite spark plug to use. now that i have a nice set up i need to figure out which spark plug is best for running the new spark system. please tell me what you would use for a SP, i like other peoples opinions.

also, i had work done to the motor. it has a stage one cam, .020 shaved off the head, .030 over, 3 angle valve job, and is set up with 2 single barrel carbs with split headers.

    thanks.

Get yourself the extended tip plugs. I'm running ACs in pretty much the same set up as you. They burn nicely as long as the carbs are set up. I've had no trouble with the Langdon dizzy set up.

Ditto on the extended tip plugs. AC R45S is a good choice for these engines. I also have a Langdon's set-up and if I remember right he advised a .050 gap, so that's what I have mine set at. I also got a set of Taylor universal HEI wires.

Sounds like you have a nicely built 235, what's it in?
