New Date for Airing......TONIGHT!

Save the date as Rad Rides by Troy will be featured in an hour long show on the Discovery Channel.

SPEED CAPITOL OF THE WORLD:
BONNEVILLE
Will air on the Discovery channel: Monday, January 5th at 10:00 pm (eastern Standard Time) Check your local listings for the air time in your area.

The show will feature footage of The Rad Rides by Troy Team at the shop preparing the "Blowfish" to head to Bonneville to set a new record on the salt in 2008. The Discovery channel also spent the week shooting actual race footage at the salt flats in Bonneville.

I'm hoping some of the footage they shot of the Old Crow team will also be included.............and of me riding my go-cart

Thanks for letting us know about this being on Denise. When we were there by the Burkland camp they did an interview with Chuck. I was told that it would not be on till sometime after the first of the yr so I was not looking for it.

As much as I love any and all coverage of Bonneville, I hope the show covers more than the mega dollar 'cuda.
Bonneville is supposed to be about regular hot rodders doing extra regular things.

 

They spent ALOT of time at the start line filming everything AND alot of time with the Old Crow team. I'm also hoping the coverage is varied or there is more then just the one hour of coverage.....perhaps a few different specials throughout the upcoming months.

 

I agree! They filmed way more than could be crammed into one hour (maybe 40-45 min. of actually show). I hope to see a few more shows, too!

the guy I talked to said they were doing a whole series of shows on speed, not just at Bville but other places as well
