looks like a damn good score, i'm thinking that 6x2 is hemi, those are water port on the outside of the runners right? post a picture from the bottom side to see the bolt pattern
This is a good example of why I quit going to garage sales. I absolutely hate tripping over a bunch of junk on the floor.......The fuel pressure regulators are very cool. Charlie Price has the repops on his website. Nice beehive too, never seen one that fresh including the flathead mount. Great score!
The Moon part is hand fuel pump and on off for fuel ( thats a price part right there ) ,,its for Dragsters early 60's part,,Evans is Model A 2x2
The high rise 6x2 is either Olds or Cadillac are the bolt holes even with each other or off center? The even would be Cadillac. As I look at the whole group I bet it's Olds. Great find
Are them Buick or Olds valve covers if they are buick do you want to sell them? if you do let me know
very cool find As B*** said, definatly a big hemi drag star, i had one i traded to Tuck a while back. the wieand tripower must be for hemi also? JEFF
I just checked the pricing for the Filcoolator Model A-4 from the November 1948 Hot Rod Magazine. The total price for the filter, element, and mounting bracket is $14.50 with an unconditional guarantee. If you're willing to honor that guarantee I'll give you $30 for it IF you throw in one of the Edmonds regulators. I'll spend the next month researching it for you. My time is valuable.
Darn, all the vintage speed parts are out West. Send some of that stuff East. Congrats, lots of cool parts there.
whoops...GrantCore?....isnt that a Granatelli intake?...Damn thats rare...think them brothers had a thing or two with the Indy 500 - STP and some Studebakers shaking up the salt in 64'....
Granatelli's Dad owned a foundry in Chicago (I think). GranCor is pretty common in the midwest. Heads, intakes are all over the place. Nothing prettier than a polished full finned set of GranCore heads on a flathead.
Yeah, we are tripping over them all the time. Sheesh. Usually the center carb mount of the 3-2 is drilled for a four bolt carb. I was told the Merc carbs (49-ish) were used on the center. Your three bolt carb on the center is the first I have seen like that.
From what I've read, it is to use a bigger 4 bolt carb. (Rochester or Merc. tea pot). When using progressive linkage, big carb feeding the center and then when fully opened, the outer two are the "normal" three bolt Ford type. Great score.
