Speed Record Set Tuesday

A buddy of mine Terry Box is the automotive writer for the Dallas Morning news and has been following the progress of this group from Dallas. Looks like they had some success yesterday.

That's great! I got to see Poteet go over 400 when I was there. Takes your breath away!

 

The record they broke was the old Summers Brother's 409mph record set in 1965 with four injected hemis. What an accomplishment. Nearberg used one 523ci dual carbed Pontiac with spray!
