YO They are a bunch of guys going down from the Portland / Vancouver area. Not sure when we are leaving. '32 roadster and '32 coupe from Portland and some of the dudes from across the river with an old motor home and a salt flat driver tagging along behind Da Flash
I'll be there with the Bean Bandits as usual. I'll be most likely be driving my orange '57 Chevy Sedan Delivery or maybe my black, full fendered Duece Tudor with 5 spokes and slicks.
Best join the BNI,for $70 you get a whole bunch of goodies!! + entry to Speedweek, bend camping is free!!
I plan on going from Pasco, Wa in my 62 C10 If you can make it to Tri Cites, Wa...you can catch a ride with me. or if you can get to Boise I could even pick you up there. How's Maui?
I'm planning on being there again this year, but will be going solo. Sharon won't be able to travel yet. I'm almost tempted to share the room but since I'll be working the course I'd be afraid of sharing it with someone who snores or wants to party.
You can look for these two record setting Studebaker Avanti's at Speed Week. The Gold one will be looking to back up the WOS record run of 215 mph. The Bucket List Dream with yours truly behind the wheel will looking to add two more records to the over 30 that the car has set in the last 49 years. The car is the former Burke Bros. car (Bill Burke of Hot Rod Magazine and the first person to race a belly tank car) Both records are over 200 mph so I hope to join the 2 club this year and add another notch to my bucket list. So far the cancer is staying at bay so it is looking good. We stay at the bend and we won't be hard to spot this year. We will have our 1952 Studebaker camper truck. All original with 38,000 miles. Dan
2 cars I have chopped/will be chopping, will be there so I feel obligated. Spectator only this time. Need to get the time to build something cool first.

I will be ther again, but hope to be driving this GMC powered 32 roadster! If the roadster is not finished, I am still on the " FLYING PICKLE" racing team !
We will be back in 2011 with our Salt2Salt car. Look for about 3 avantis and our blue suede 53' Stude (#4594) about 2/3rds down the pits in front of the return road for the long course and say hello! Our 182" Stude v8 should be making 320+ hp this year. With a 2" stroke and 7600 rpm, you will recognize the sound!
