Event Coverage Speed Week Roll Call!

i will be there helping out a few race teams, and camping at the bend in the road

 

I will be there with HAMB stickers on the Flashpoint Streamliner. Come by and say hi.

 

We are hustling to get this one finished, I started it last Oct.

 

I will be there, towing my bed and bar. Hanging our with the North of 49 gang. New bigger engine, twin turbo's, could be lots of fun.

 

me and the fam will be there friday,cant wait! do they still make the big pancake breakfast out on the salt?eat watch the sun rise,then racing all day! love it.

Got all the loose ends tie up and fired it up last night. The blower gives it a nasty bark. If it runs as good as it sounds I'll be a happy camper. I've been learning as I go with a lot of help from a friend in Denmark. He told me once I get the blower sorted I'll never be able to go back. He might be right.

 

A group of us from Eugene will be there!!!

I'll be there all week doing the tune up on Wally Kohler's ride. Missed the record by 7 MPH last year. This year we come with more aro work, bigger cams, new headers, much improved induction design and a data recorder. And some new paint. If you see us stop in. JC

Given up on finding rooms for the 9th and 10th. Weird how some years its no problem. Look forward to seeing the pics everyone posts up.

Planning to go again this year. Arriving Saturday.

 

I notice there is much less pre Bonneville posting this year than last and before. Perhaps that means the crowds of spectators will be thinned out as well as the show at the Stateline. Is that the Nugget now?

Spectating 8-10 camping at the Bend. Don't have the Rambler this year.
We just got the engine back from the machine shop.
The Rambler in the avatar made the trip last year. Tha's why we tore the engine apart.

You'd think that the 100th anniversary of LSR on the Bonneville salt flats would be a strong enough motivator in itself. That's a huge milestone.
Oh well ... it's their loss, I'll see you there!

I'm aware of some hooligans from ColoRODo who plan to be there, along with a few cars, and one racer I know from Wyoming. An impressive list of pre-entries......and several 'liners that no doubt will be awesome fast!!!
