there was a video of a guy in A ferari f40, in New York doing that, had a video camera on the dash for the speedo/tach, and one on the dash facing out the window. Reaching speeds of 210mph+ on interstate...

it circulated awhile, then the police ran registration and bought a video and arrested the guy doing it, using the video as evidence.

That was awsome but, I still favor Jimmy Whites video though. I know its not speeding through Paris, but I still love the sound of the hemi coming alive down the street. just my .02

Bloody hell, I was holding on tight during a couple of those turns. Hoax or not, that was damned exciting....

I can just see somebody trying to replicate that through Birmingham, England. Or maybe not.

    Cool video.

It was like I was playing Midnight Club Racing 2 again.

  9. Well I'm willing to give it a go if you are...
Friend of mine is a grip - I'm sure he could sort out a gimbal mounted camera!

I'm not sure how fast he's going. I've been to Paris a bunch of times and most of the places he's driving have speed limits of like 40mph (whatever the Km equal is), and he's not exactly blowing by them. I'm guessing he's averaging around 60 to 70mph.

It's still cool to watch though!!

also the film is speeded up ,if you look at the pidgeons fly away if he were on them that quick in real life he would have got em .Also look closely at some of the cars that are indicating the flashers are way too fast.Ok so he seems to be going quite quick but it's very early in the morning becuase at any other time of day those roads are rammed full with cars...............Marq

Actually, he averages over 110mph during the trip and at times has it up over 160mph. The original video comes with a map that details the length in kilometers of the video and the actual (time) length. The driver is rumored to be Senna and I agree... I'd recognize his heel/toe stuff anywhere as I spent hours upon hours studying him in racing school.
