Here is a pic of a vintage speedometer tester. I emailed other places to get more info on this specific tester. If someone can enlighten me with any info, that would be great. I will try to upload the video if there is an interest. Thanks

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, a video has to be worth a million? Well, there’s that inflation thing, but please post it!

The key would be the connection to hook your speedometer to it to check it.

To post a video you have to load it on youtube and then post the link on here, you can't load it directly on the HAMB

Speedo connections, at least the mechanical versions, are mostly a square-drive, made by square-crimping the round woven-stranded cable. Done it more than once a few years ago, mixing & matching speedo heads, n tranny geared outputs. & usually the same size for both, across mfgr brands.

About the only info I can add is that the speedo should read 60 mph at a shaft rotation of 1001 rpm, according to my 1919 Dyke's Encyclopedia.

I assume the odd 1001 rpm vs 1000 rpm was to emphasize precision.
