    Hi guys,
I'm trying to work out the best way to hook up a speedo on my Model A. It has a 61 Dynaflow trans and the old cable drive is in an awkward position at floor height. Should I go electronic or how could I get a mechanical one like Stuart Warner or Cl***ic Gauges to work with this?

    All suggestions gratefully received.

Gus, They sound like more money at first but the electronic speedos, have been a great help for me. When you hook up a mechanical speedo you have to consider the gear ratios in the trans and rear end. In the past Iv'e used ratio adapters from the instrument repair guys and those work well. All that extra time and expence just aren't worth it. Go electronic makes life easier. Normal Norman

maybe see if you can find a right angle adapter for the cable?

Before you get too gung ho about an electronic speedo, check to see how big the sensor is, it might be harder to fit in the car than a cable.
