Beautiful workmanship and speedster!!!! Sure as hell would make for a fun cruise through the back roads of Scotland!!! Can't wait to see more of it!!
Some update pics for my speedster. Finally got the dash finished and the grill filled and half painted. Finally got the headlamps painted and wired.
Can't wait to see it out and about,Archie.I'll have to get over and see it. Looks the absolute bollocks!
Very nice workmanship !!!For us guys on this side of the pond with steering wheels on the other side that Escort 1600and trans is the Pinto 1600 here in 71-2
With gas here costing about sevan and a half US dollars a gallon - It should be cheaper to drive than my coupe
Bara fint, Archie ol' chap! You have done one hell of a job with that speedster. Now I need to get my roadster out for next year.
I like the lever-arm shocks you guys are using across the pond. I see they're Morris Minor before I got a chance to ask. Nice project
Your simple garage tools are apparently way more talented than my simple garage tools................ Splendid craftsmaship young sir. Enjoy!!!!
Very impressive. If this is your first attempt I can't imagine what your second scratch build will look like. Awesome work man.
now thats a nice little jalopy and the steering wheel is on the right side haha you can drive it down to the hayride next year only cost 3 quid in fuel with the crossflow in it haha love to see that going round the track
Dont think I will be at the Hayride next year - I will be at the A-Bombers OSW in Sweden the week before in it. Still maybe the following year .
Thanks for the nice comments. The reason for learning how to work metal (ie shrinking, leadwork etc) is I have got this '34 body to restore after I finish the speedster. AP
Archie, You have your hands FULL '34 5 windows are the BEST lookin' if you ask me, but you didn't so I said it anyway!!!!! Nick.
Why not do both,Archie. You can afford it,teachers are well over paid. Looking forward to seeing the '34 coming together. Mark
Ummmm, this thing is ...... FUCKING RAD!!!! I can't believe how cool it is and that I am just seeing it now.
