DOM I like the way you think, but I didn't relish the thought of getting busted five hours from home.
On the other hand I took brake drums from my full size Blazer in to get a clean up cut on them one time. The owner gave them to an inexperienced kid to cut and he hogged them out so bad they were ruined. Me- WTF??? Owner- they were junk when you brought them in here. Me- Then why did you agree to cut them *******?
I didn't throw them through his window but I did get him a real nice building inspection courtesy of a pal at the Chicago FD. Cost me $200 for the inspector and it was worth every penny. ;)

I did a real similar thing to a jack*** landlord. Screwed us out of some money, so we had the city housing folks do an inspection of the place. Cost him a lot more than if he'd have just been truthful with us.

The best revenge can be the kind that leaves them scratching their heads, as in - What the hell just happened here?

But enough of the thread hi-jack. Back to our regular programming.

Was thinking of swapping out the front axle in my Chevy with a Speedway unit, with the thought of going lower, than higher. I was wondering if there was space enough between the spring and frame to mount the 2" tube on top of the spring, rather than under. Any thoughts as to how much travel between the two is safe?
