Technical Speedway, did I miss something?

    It's a rare vendor that answers the phone and gets problems solved. My client pays SalesForce five figures a year and it's impossible to get ahold of any humans at SF.
    This year I placed an online order with a parts company. About $1,000 order. One part was $350 and it was not sent, rather a similar part with a different part number. The closest option on their site was "I ordered the wrong part, return and pay shipping." I didn't order the wrong part, went back and checked. The order I placed had the correct part number. The part that was shipped didn't match that. I didn't want to ship them their part on my dime. The only way to communicate with them was via email. No chat, no phone number, no alternatives. I feared the worst.
    Sent them an email Sat am and got a "we will take care of that" email that evening. I asked them to overnight the correct part and they did.
    Still would prefer a chat function or a phone number but they unfugged the mess and were excellent via email.

    Good to hear you got someone to straighten out the shipping costs. I have always had good results talking to Speedway techs, whether it was mechanical, or payment issues.
