Hot Rods Speedway Distributer

    Has anybody in HAMB land used the Speedway electronic distributer on 42 to 48 flatheads (part # 9108352). If so, what coil did you use? Speedway tech is recommending a 6 volt positive ground unit(part # 44740011). Seems odd to me that you would use a 6 volt, positive ground coil on a 12 volt negative ground system.     The instructions on that part number mention " 6 volt coils can be used with 6 volt point systems. If used with 12 volt point systems, it should have a 1.00 OHM resistor added." ;)
