Depends.... Are they making them here or has Speedy moved production of that part to China also?

they are not through speedway motors but speedway engireering in sylmar Ca. catalog says they are used in winston cup cars and have gone 290 plus mph on the salt but if anybody has any real experiance with this product i would like to hear it, better first hand then just out of a catalog thanks

  5. I took a quick look at the quick-change page on their website:

It appears that their unit can be purchased with a couple of different style differentials to replace the spool. You will need this if you plan on driving that car on the street. I'd suggest you contact them and tell them what the rearend will be used for.

Didn't Rogue get a Speedway QC for his latest Roadster?

  7. I ran a Halibrand with a spool on the street and you "Really" have to pay attention to what you're doing! [IMG]

So I sold the Halibrand and bought the "Stock Car Products QC from TCI with the Quick-Trac Posi and 31 spline axles, No problems at all...! [IMG]

I understand that Speedway has the 550 HP version with this same type of posi and I would "Strongly" recommend this setup for a little "Hot Rod" for the street or strip...! [IMG]
