Speedway motors have a basic t bucket that I think is cool because it looks similar to Ed Roth "Tweedy Pie" and Fred Steele's. speedway motors basic t Fred Steele's t bucket Ed Roth Tweedy Pie
Kinda sorta! You sure could doll up that basic bucket kit to look more the part, and it's you first go-round in this deal it would be a good one. Just doing early Ford suspension stuff instead of standard T-bucket norm would back date it quite a bit and maybe end up a bit less expensive in the long run.
Did you order their catalog? I really like some of the rides in it and look great. I keep going back and forth on channeling or not. I hate lose any leg room. I really like the black traditional T they built.
id buy MATACONCEPTS bucket before i bought speedways. its real steel with a real past. in the end makes for a better car and youll be more satisfied in the end with a non cookie cutter speedway bolt together bucket.
I look at speedway motors for inspiration. Once I start to build mine the frame will be built by me and the body will be from a local company Class Glass & Performance. Iam lucky enough to be a certified welder and have worked in body shops.
Of the hundreds of times I've seen this photo I never noticed Ed's shoes on the ground beside the car before. HRP
