Event Coverage Speedweek and.... ZZ Top

can we get a drum roll please!

 

Its really hard to do, but while at the start line, look around at the people. I have seen Billy G there more than once in the past 20 years.

 

Seeing Billy at the start line and perhaps shaking his hand would be cool BUT I was so looking forward to spending an evening listening to ZZTop jam at that small venue. What a unique way to make this years Speedweek so memorable. I'm bummed.

 

We can do a subs***ute air guitar show at the hotel?? Just need a few drinks

 

I wish it was a few days later, like monday or Tues.. I dont get their until Sun night.

 

Don't get too excited they have a show in california the next night, so if Billy is on the salt it will be friday before the show. HRLC and I both waited for tickets to open. After a 40min wait on hold, I got through and found out the package deal. The best seat? 75% of the hall is reserved for high-rollers and frequent guests, available only by hotel invitation.

Love ZZtop, although this carry on in wendover is just wrong,I bet if the band knew what was going on they wouldn't be to pleased

 

I'm going to make sure he knows.
