Technical spindel uprights

Could someone explain to me how replace upper grease seals on spindle uprights on 48 Plymouth ?
I have tried placing on spindle and on A frame. Seems not enough room to force into place.
A frame first looks best but no luck yet. Is there a trick ? thanks
