I have a pair of '35 Ford spindles I would like to use.
What differences are there between them and say, '39-40 Ford spindles?

Do a search on th HAMB, there are a bunch of posts that relate to Ford spindles. The 35 spindles are vastly different from the later spindles in backing plate bolt spacing and spindle snout length.

I know the backing plate flange is different. There might be a difference in the bearings as well, but I'm not sure

I have a pair of these too and they seem to be the only early ford spindle that NOBODY wants.
