So I started putting my front end together tonight and realized I don't have spindle nuts!!! I'm installing fat man spindles and cannot find the nuts anywhere.does anyone think that a normal parts store would have some? I'm ***uming I need to find some for a granada since those are the brakes I'm using???? I'm heading back tommorow to finish the front end so I hope I can find some. Or do I need to look for nuts for a54 ford?? Help me out guys, I really want this thing on all four wheels tommorow night.....

Call Fat man and find out what year/model the spindles are and go from there or take a spindle in to the parts house and start fitting nuts...

Geno X2! Some "conversion" kits use special parts and fasteners to get all the mismatched components to live happily together. Don't ever ***ume anything. Call the manufacturer and get the right parts.

Great news!!! i took a chance and stopped at the local "real" parts store and they had spindle nut "kits" for the 75 to 80 granada. took them out and sure enough, PERFECT!!!! nothing better than a parts store that still stocks real parts!!!

I did a disc brake conversion for a guy this winter that bought a kit from CJ Pony Parts and the damn kit doesn't come with the dust covers , spindle nut , washer or anything ! I couldn't believe for all the money to by a conversion they could at least include those parts as well ! These places make enough money from these kits so why are they so cheap not to include a couple dollars of chinese parts to make it really complete !

retro ... the kit your friend was looking for would have been the deluxe kit for 300 dollars more for 15 dollars worth of parts.

We rebuilt the entire front end ! Replaced everything ! The kit he bought came with the spindles , rotors , bearings , calibers and that was suppose to be a complete kit ! I honestly don't care for CJ's and have had too many problems with back orders and parts not fitting but that was his money , not mine and he didn't want to listen to where I told him to get the parts .
Anyway the kits are usually a rip off and over priced . Easier to just order the parts you need . People think a kit has everything , is the best price and best way to buy things , till they have to install them !
Live and learn the hard way !
