Need Spindles for my R&C cross member and tubular A-Arms on my falcon. I am being told that the 2 inch drop Spindles on there site are specific to their setup, shipping charges are adding up fast. I am not understanding the difference that their spindles are compared to other brands out there, does any one have any incite on this?
    Thank you

Is this a Mustang II style setup? Could you post a link to the website?

Since Gimpy weighed in already. the other go to guy is Elpolako.... both know their sheet!

I have heard of them, but no experience.... I try to use Speedway for a parts source. I haven't had a problem as far as cost goes, or reference them anyways as a comparison...

That is a run-of-the mill Mustang II setup. Your choices are stock-height (stock being the original MII spindle, not the Falcon), or 2" lower than than. You can buy these from any reliable vendor.

If you happen across a "loose" set, at a swap meet, or wherever, here is what the two versions, side-by-side look like. Note the shape difference:

I think there is one of the dropped pair, and a reg pair in the classifieds.

I also have stock height spindles and a whole Mustang II stock brake set up in the garage. I did the speedway $239 big brake kit. and dropped spindles I got locally

You guys are awesome, I still do not understand why they say there specific for the crossmember unless i am thinking into the email to much.

    Thanks again for the help

VERY few companies make their own spindles, of their own design. Those who do, are making something functionally different from this setup. They just want your money.

I bought the same setup from R&C it's no big deal the parts will fit from almost any parts store.Im not knocking their rear 4 link setup but there is better out there and the line where they tell you no welding just bolts right in no such thing I had to completely redesign the thing and weld it all in check out my pictures and you will understand as far as the MII setup it's a good system just don't use their motor mounts make your own also in the pics anyway enjoy your build. One more thing get the rack with the short shaft pinion lots more room for headers and stuff. If I can be of help please ask
