Hot Rods Split wishbones, hairpins or 4 bar front end?

Sell the extra parts; someone else can put them to use.

 

from what I have always understood, ( for the last 40 years ) - Yes, - can’t use hairpins or wishbones on a tube axle.

That’s what most people say but I still see plenty of cars out there with split wishbones or hairpins a tube axle. I don’t believe I will take the chance and I will remove the 4 bar and tube axle and replace it with new components.
