i just picked up 1937 ford truck. i am looking for any advice on how to split the wishbones and what i should consider when doing so. thanks!!!
im 24 and love cars 1972 and older. i also have a 1949 chevy 2dr sedan. i am planning on building something that came straight out of the 50s or early 60s but done a long time ago out of the truck as cheep as possible and still go with old school parts. i will post some pics as asap
I cut the factory weld & pull the forging out of the center. I used the Speedway bungs that take the factory ford tie rod ends. If doing that, you will need to bend them also. And don't s**** the center piece. But if you aren't going to Z the frame or change the motor, maybe you don't need to change the wishbone.
