Splitting a 216 while keeping stock heat riser?

  1. I did my first set of splits on a '48 Fleetline Aerosedan I bought from my wife's Grandmother in 1963. Got a second manifold from the junkyard for a buck or two for the second flange. Tools: hacksaw, bench grinder, oxygen/acetylene torch and a few sticks of braze. Held up very well.
