Spock and his Riviera.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by zman, Oct 1, 2009.

  1. Is there a chick Kirk -Didn't- bone? The green chick, Liz Taylor, forget about one in every port, he had one on every planet. Hell one episode he just about pulls a Polanski with a young chick (it doesn't count because it turns out she's really like 100 years old and only *looks* like 15). It's no wonder Sulu went gay, no one else could get a piece of the action, he had to settle for a man on Ur****. Well, his anyways. Don't ask where he put the tribbles.

Speaking of "A Piece Of The Action" I remember Shatner grinding the gears out of a '30 Packard roadster on the gangster planet, they went a fair number of places with cars. I forget the name of the showcar on the first page of the thread but was that the planet that was like ancient Rome?

And I will admit I own a copy of a Leonard Nimoy 45. Which I once played for a few seconds. It was so bad I was afraid if it kept going he'd hit the brown note. And not worth putting on eBay, probably for the same reason.

Spock's music was better than Kirk's!...

And you're not a true trekkie unless you know about the egg racks and rubber duckies!

The origional TV show had almost no budget so they scrounged things like egg racks and other junk out of the dumpsters to build the sets. Take a close look at things like the vents and grates in the elevator from the bridge and in the hallways and other places thruout the ship.

The rubber duckies are hidden everywhere, even in the movies. Good luck spotting them tho. Hint, there's one on the panel of
spock's station near where his head normally is.

Dude I love your avatar. The Great Escape was one of those movies I watched 200,000 times during my child hood. And of course Steve McQueen doing all his own MC stunts! RAD!

I didn't watch Star Trek but I knew that....well I guess I probably read more People mags then you do huh?:D In case you were interested, they have been living together for 20 years and have been legally married for one year. They will be appearing on The New Dating Game shortly as the first homo***ual couple to ever appear on the show.

4 pages and no one has expressed remorse at being phaser fodder in the next episode...

Guess that makes me a 90%er....

For some reason, that is kind of a cool pic of Nimoy and the car...

Ok Ill split it with ya, I saw the first three star wars movies as a kid, of course I loved them, but the next three, man those were bad. I mean we found out Darth Vader got to where he was in life because of peer pressure. Ive not watched anything star wars since then.

We can still be friends, right? :D

of course Nimoy would've had a cool car, he was working more regularly than Shatner was. now, i doubt like heck that he'd still have it though.

Star Wars went to hell with JarJar. it was cruising the gay bars with Ewoks already..... and having Darth Vader explained away as a whiney emo kid just plain ****ed. still like to watch them for the special effects and the outer space hot rods.

I'm surprised not more people noticed that Fuellie 'Vette next to Spock and his Rivi'! I bet that was Captain Kirk's bad-*** machine for driving to the studio everyday!

Ya missed post #78. And yeah, I agree with the rest of that statement.
    But meanwhile...
Heres a cool picture of the original Enterprise sitting outside the creators studio back in the day (one of the builders worked at the Victress company, for your HAMB tie-in;))
