Like jonzcustonshop mentioned, you are pretty close to the track in a spectator standpoint. I helped crew at that track with my old team (front engine dragster) against the rear engine guys and all we mustered was a 6.47. It was in 1998 when the Greek came back out of retirement. I got the clutch discs from his first p*** out of retirement and ended up giving them to my friend, he ended up throwing them away. Had A LOT of fun that weekend, but I was exhausted due to the 1986 mile trip each way from Wisconsin going the longer way.
That's awesome for the entire Inland Northwest. Its great to see the county step up and buy the track. SRP has been in continuous operation since the 70's. Something tells me that it has been and still can make money. I know one thing for sure, I'll be attending more events at the track now that my money will be going to support Spokane County and local racers and not Moe.
