Spoked wheels on FED's

Does anyone know what the spoked wheels are from on Front engine dragsters,
ie: motorcycle.
Or are they manufactured purpose build for dragsters.
Any info would be great.

 

I believe they're purpose built for dragsters. they seem like they're too thin to be cycle wheels. I'm not positive on that though.

A friend owns an early FED....and the wheels on the front are early H-D motorcycle.....ask Shag what he has running on his FED...

 

Hallcraft wheels come to mind....and Total Performance sells 'em for T-buckets......but your best bet is ask somebody that builds dragsters ...hhmmmmmm...like Cole Foster's pops........Pat Foster

I know this is kinda off topic but did ya know that garlits was the first person to run wire spoked wheels on a FED?
