Technical Spotlight disassembly help

    Hey guys. I’m starting to restore some old (what I think are ford) spotlights. They do not disassemble the same as the unity or appletons I’ve dealt with and before anything breaks I wanted some 2nd opinions.
    Inside the threads spins when rotating the handles. And the collar with the 2 notches around the threads spins separately. But I can’t seem to detach the threaded neck from the bucket. That collar is locking the threaded shaft from coming out but does it have its own threads? Is it pressed? Anyone have insight or info on this style spotlight?

    And yes I removed both grub nuts from the neck housing that are shown in the picture.

    Solved. Thanks to dave Lucas for the insight. Homemade tool to unthread a stuck collar

    It was seized up. After an hour or soaking it loosened up. Just didn’t want to muscle it and damage the neck.
