vintage 57 chevy custom car craft magazine cover car

this is for sale on the auction site needing restoration for $7500 by it now

anybody remember this car?

The young owner of the car posted it here a year or two ago. He had it in his head that he should put a fuel injected, modern drivetrain in it and that would make it worth $80K or something ridiculous like that.

Seems he wised up and put a fair price on it. it's a little rough, and a lot odd, but a neat car with history and worth the price in my opinion.

Somewhere the old thread still exists, a HAMB search would probably turn it up.

 

He just found out his wife has cancer, both are unemployed, and no medical insurance. Selling everything they can to pay medical bills.
