Spray Foam for sealing & reinforcement?

Just for comparison, and the fact that I do not trust some of the sellers on E-bay. I use Autobody Supply Mart. It is just a catalog that comes to me. I have bought some items from them, and would do business with them again. They carry the full line of 3M and Lord Fusor 2-part mixes. Including the adhesives and NVH foam. Might check them out to compare price.

 

I deal directly with my paint and body shop supply store . They have the information as well as the products. I use mostly fusor, but evercoat has good products that use a regular caulking gun. Called a coaxial tube

For the big gaps you can lay old window screen in before you shoot the foam in, then seal it with roof patch. Oh man, did I say that out loud? Those were the days...

Have you read this thread? Or the information on the products? Nobody is advocating filling huge gaps.

 

Edd and all, the information I read on body shop paper is a little scary. The first type of foam has a expansion rate of 10!!! The second type has a 1 to 10 expansion!! Now I am not the smartest guy and I Could have Misread the paper but I would proceed with caution.
