i know there has been threads on this topic before but all I can find is older ones a few years ago. Looking into a system to do interior and show pieces. Spectra chrome, future chrome, gold touch, etc. I've seen good and bad on all of them. Has the systems gotten better over the years finished product, durability, etc. just getting opinions if I want to dump that money into something not worth it.

In a word YES! When properly applied hydrochrome processes work great are are as good as many factory chrome jobs. If in doubt look at a lot of the NCAA helmets and even some NFL ones. They are coated with the hydrochrome process and hold up pretty darn well. Is it equal to show chrome... no but don't believe those on here that give you **** about it. They are generally old farts that don't try anything new. Seriously it's not for everything but is a great option. And no I have nothing to do with that business just did my research. In fact signed up on this board expressly because of this issue( no life right). Good luck with it the hardest part is finding an applicator. Btw spectra chrome and hydrochrome differ slightly but a lot of the finished product is similar.
