Wow . We were there maybe 12 yrs ago and found some cool early stuff we actually were looking for. Went back 2yrs ago and it was a total bust , no early stuff . But your picture show otherwise now , very cool. Might be worth a return visit . After our last experience we said we would not bother again. Hmmm.

Maybe Carlisle has some potential once again.

...yes as alluded, a pretty cool looking event that was...plenty of desirable projects to be had...I really like the ole 32 survivor with the 37 and T...the weather looked fantastic as well...

I was always under the impression Carlisle was later in model years but this certainly paints a different picture...

    Thanks for sharing @40LUV

  15. The red, 1932 channeled 5 window coupe was for sale for $ 15,000, and it sold, but I don't know how much it sold for. There was a lot of early stuff there. Iron Trap Garage had about 3 spaces under a tent, and, they bought a lot of stuff out to sell, and they did.

Looks like some good stuff, how are the prices? Thanks for the pics!

  17. The prices were all over the place. I looked at a dirty, non-stuck large logo Stromberg 97 priced at $ 100.00. It was a good deal for someone. But I know someone else bought a similar condition large logo Stromberg 97 for $ 20.00. You have to be in the right place at the right time.

The weather was wacky on Tuesday - rain, wind, snow, some sleet and/or tiny hail, Wednesday was much better weather wise, Thursday we had rain which was a surprise from noon until about 4 maybe. Today started out slow and then was great, huge crowds, great weather, we all sold a lot of stuff. Gabby and JohnnyC did pretty well all 4 days - I was slow until today. Had a great time regardless - saw Andy Kohler and we got to catch up along with a couple others. Good to see all of you!

Carlisle still seems to favor post-war stuff but I did see more pre-war hot rod stuff there this year than in recent years. I bought this set of FE cast iron headers for a good price. 20220421_133753[1].jpg

I thought the same, I asked my friend, are we at Hershey? More vendors on the hill too, unlike recent years. It was great! Maybe online sales are fading?

Carlisle, both spring and fall, are always all over the map. I have met a lot of really great people and after as many days as I have been there I have sold only $20 to over $2000 of stuff. But, I look forward to them both, regardless. I also saw Hotrodhoodlum which I failed to mention earlier.

Fall Hershey and Carlisle are literally back to back now - staying out for both and not going home inbetween, new owners of Hershey - it will be just like a box of chocolates! Lol!
