Spring Carlisle is a little over six weeks away and will be here before you know it. Anyone planning to attend? Anyone planning to vend there this spring and offer some good, HAMB friendly parts? I plan to be vending there Lord willing and will soon be listing some great pre-war stuff in the classifieds. Planning to bring '35 and '36 Ford hoods, Pair of '30-'31 Model A sedan rear fenders, NOS '30-'31 Model A coupe/pickup rear fenders, '39 Ford grille, '31 Grille shell, '35 Ford wheels, Model T turtle deck, Flathead V8 trans and other flathead parts, '30s front axles, headlights, A frame cross-members and more.
I will likely go, weather permitting. Glad the OP is going there is really not much HAMB friendly stuff there anymore.
Since Carlisle is only a 35 minute drive for me now that I moved to Pennsylvania instead of 5 1/2 hours when I lived in Connecticut I damn sure am going at least 2 days. One half day after kidney dialysis, plus 1 full day.
I think that depends on your definition of "old". weather is a big factor, so is what Carlisle continues to charge, raising parking and vendor fees with every breath. Fewer and fewer guys with piles of of stuff tend to show up and more and "commercial" vendors appear but overall there are an increasing number of blank spaces. Oh, and for heaven's sake, take money to tip the restroom folks. They make zilch for a sorry job and they need that .25,.50,.75,1.00 a whole lot more than you do.
If you are going, there's an online special for parking and admission. I'm not sure of the total savings but this looks like a fairly good deal: https://clickntix.com/e/2023-spring-carlisle
Headed out Wednesday be there til Saturday morning, Spring doesn't start for me until after Spring Carlisle. Been going for over 40 years.
I am heading up from Texas, my daughter attends college in Gettysburg and I am attending her soccer game in Shippensberg on Saturday. Looking to coordinate a couple of days to search for some stuff!
